Terms & Conditions
The course fee must be paid in full before the start of the course, either at the time of booking or on receipt of an invoice. Full payment secures your place on the course. Grant or funded delegates may pay retrospectively. Steve Hindmarsh Ltd reserves the right to re-allocate the course place to another delegate where fees have not been paid in full at that time.
In the event of late payment, Steve Hindmarsh Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on all outstanding amounts at the rate of 2% per calendar month or part thereof from the last date that payment was due to the date that payment is made.
All notice of transfers, cancellations, non-attendance and substitutions must be made in writing, via post or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- There is no charge for transferring to an alternative course, provided the request is received 21 working days before the start date.
- Requests to transfer received 6-20 working days before the start of the course will be subject to a transfer fee of 15 per cent of the course fee.
- Requests to transfer received 1 – 5 working days before the start of the course will be subject to a transfer fee of 30 per cent of the course fee.
- Transfers on or after the start date of the course: We regret that full fee will be charged, irrespective of factors outside of the delegate’s control. Subsequent course will be at full fee, with discretion on reduced fee only in the case of a stand-by place becoming available.
- Early booking discounts are not transferable.
You can transfer a place on a course to a substitute delegate free of charge at any time. Please inform the office of the delegate change.
There is no charge for cancellations received 21 working days before the start date.
Cancellations received 6-20 working days before the start of the course will be subject to a cancellation fee of 33 per cent of the course fee.
Cancellations received 1-5 days before the start of the course will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50 per cent of the course fee.
Cancellations on or after the start date of the course: We regret that full fee will be charged, irrespective of factors outside of the delegate’s control.
If the delegate fails to attend the course 100 per cent of the course fees are payable.
If a delegate wishes to cancel from the course once the programme has begun, the full course fees are payable.
CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF COURSES AND CHANGES OF VENUE
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a course or change the venue or dates at any time without any liability for consequential or indirect loss. We will offer an alternative date, venue or course or a credit or a full refund. We will endeavour to give the delegate as much advance notice as possible of any such change. We cannot offer refunds for cancellations outside our control; these would include adverse weather conditions, major incident or industrial action. We will not be liable for any other costs incurred including (for example) travel charges or any consequential damages, even if we were advised of these costs.
Course content and trainers
In order to respond rapidly to changes in the market place and the developing field of mediation, Steve Hindmarsh Ltd reserves the right to alter its course content and/or trainer at any time.
Course notes and training
Steve Hindmarsh Ltd’s course notes and training cannot be relied upon for legal interpretation. Neither Steve Hindmarsh Ltd nor its employees, trainers or consultants can accept responsibility for the actions of delegates, or those of other people reading the course notes, or responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of relying on the course content or the course notes.
Please note there will be a charge of £15 + VAT for all additional copies of course materials required.
If you are not completely satisfied with your chosen course, and you are able to provide substantiated reasons for your dissatisfaction, we are willing to negotiate a part refund on an agreed estimated value of the course.
